Exquisite Art from the Heart and the Sea
I have always loved the ocean and love collecting seashells, sea glass, shark teeth and pretty pieces of driftwood that have washed ashore. These beautiful treasures from the sea bring me joy and I love to share that joy with others through my creations. Art and writing has helped me through some very difficult health challenges and every piece I create has a fragment of my story in it. I handcraft each item one piece at a time and never rush the process or mass produce anything. I lived most of my life rushing and working 70 hours a week. Now something about the sea, reminds me to slow down, enjoy the process and do everything with meaning from the heart.
My Grandma was a seahell lover and I used to admire all of her seashell art and jewelry that she created when I was little. I now honor her memory in every creation.
This is only a small sampling of my creations, as I also have an art shop at Coconut Barrel in St. Augustine. Since I have limited wall space to display my larger pieces there, I decided to start a website for some select items. If there is a unique color theme or idea you would like created, feel free to message me. I can do a limited amount of custom orders at a time to ensure quality and keep my individualized attention and craftsmanship intact for each and every piece.
The custom seashell collages can be created in lots of different sizes to fit the space and color theme you envision. They can also be encased in clear or color shadowbox frames if you prefer them enclosed.
